There is so much talk about Mental Health and “Bell let’s talk” this past week. It’s so important that we open up the lines of communication for everyone that is suffering in silence. Sometimes though, the person that is the listening ear just doesn’t know what to do or what to say to help. That’s why there is a group of amazing professionals all around the city that people can reach out to. There is an entire unit at the QCH that over the years Jason and his team have been hosting fundraisers for to raise money to update these facilities to help our community. Over the past 3 years his team has raised almost 60K with the Spare a night for QCH – it is a lot of effort and money to have these events but the money and awareness that it brings to the cause is priceless. Here is a throw back to a few of those events including the Harvest for Hope event sponsored by Tomlinsons that he was honoured to be asked to emcee. That evening raised $465K for that same unit at the QCH! It was an epic night to witness the Ottawa community coming together.
